This blog is essentially a personal Vanity Press publication spot for things I'd like to write about. It may sound "bitchy" at times because there are a lot of things in this world which are not as they should be, and people seem to have a lot of difficulty getting together to make things right. I have found that Facebook and Linked-In provide most of the functionality I require in day to day group interactions not handled in my normal email threads and subscriptions. For this reason, I have not felt the need to use this "vanity press" blog much.
ReplyDeleteI just went through a crazy round of ordering and scheduling because of a design problem which plagues my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. I will soon have replaced both actuators in the ice and water dispenser for the same poor design issue. The original part separates into two pieces along a seam where some kind of glue used to assemble the part fails after repeated vibration stress. The part numbers for the replacement parts are different than the originals, but Sears/Kenmore never linked them back to the reference database for the unit which makes for useless computer aided lookups to check if the part is compatible with a specific model. Sheesh!
